Andy Chen

Andy Chen is responsible for asset management and daily operations associated with Trigild’s Asset Management and Advisory Services platform.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Director with Canyon Partners Real Estate for a series of value-add and opportunistic equity funds, which included the Canyon Catalyst Fund, a pioneering emerging manager platform, formed in partnership with CalPERS.
During his 12 years at Canyon, Andy worked on over 75 investments across a range of product types including multifamily, condominiums, retail, office, hotel, industrial, parking, and land (totaling $3.5 billion worth of real estate). Andy began his career as an acquisitions and asset management Analyst in CIM Group’s investments department.
Andy is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (B.A., cum laude, Business Economics with a minor in Accounting).
