Chris Chauvin, Managing Partner, leads Trigild’s receivership operations, driving operational excellence and aligning teams to deliver consistent, strategic results for clients nationwide. As one of the firm’s principal receivers, he is responsible for continued growth across Trigild’s platform.
Chris brings a distinguished career in real estate capital markets and financial services litigation, with expertise in resolving distressed commercial loans, foreclosures, receiverships, and high-stakes litigation for lenders, financial institutions, and private equity funds. He has represented creditors, borrowers, and investors in non-performing loan matters, including remedies such as receiver’s sales, workouts, restructuring, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and UCC sales. Chris has handled matters across asset classes, including hospitality, office, multifamily, industrial, and healthcare.
Before joining Trigild, Chris practiced for twenty years at an Am Law 10 firm, where he did complex real estate and financial services litigation. Before beginning private practice, Chris was a law clerk for the Honorable W. Eugene Davis of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Chris is a graduate of LSU and LSU Law School.
