Rudy is a commercial real estate and financial consultant with more than 30 years of hands-on experience helping lenders, investors, and property owners navigate complex challenges. He specializes in distressed properties and troubled loans.
Throughout his career, he has managed and resolved distressed commercial real estate across asset classes including hotels, multifamily communities, office buildings, retail centers, and mixed-use properties—often involving foreclosures, restructurings, bankruptcies, and property takeovers. Rudy communicates effectively with both financial professionals and everyday property managers.
He has held senior roles at leading financial institutions and Special Servicing firms, including managing defaulted loans, leading CMBS reporting and risk analysis, and developing reporting systems and compliance tools. His experience includes distressed asset resolution, CMBS and special servicing guidance, loan restructuring, financial and operational analysis, risk assessment, and due diligence.
In addition, he brings strong capabilities in process improvement, workflow design, vendor oversight, and property inspections.
Based in the Birmingham, Alabama area, Rudy works with clients across the country.
