Stephen Close
Senior Asset Manager
Stephen Close is a 25+ year senior real estate professional who joined Trigild in February, 2026. His current responsibilities include asset managing a portfolio of seventeen properties located throughout the Northeast and Midatlantic US.
Stephen joined Trigild after two years at Douglas Development Corp., a highly prominent family office in Washington, DC. He oversaw commercial asset management for 40+ buildings in Douglas’ office portfolio north of Richmond, VA and assisted with more than $700M in loan refinancings and restructures. Prior to his time with Douglas, Stephen spent the majority of his career with KBS Realty Advisors starting as an Analyst in 2005 and working his way up to Senior Vice President overseeing all real estate operations for the Northeast and Midatlantic US markets. In various capacities, Stephen was responsible for 5M+ square feet of executed leases and approximately $2B in acquisitions/dispositions during his KBS tenure.
Stephen is a graduate of Colgate University in Hamilton, NY and currently resides with his wife and daughter in Westfield, NJ.
