Veronica Chavez joined Trigild in April 2020 as a Property Accountant for Managed & Receivership properties with a specialty in Hotel Accounting.
Veronica started her career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts as a Front Desk Agent and then moved to Night Audit Supervisor. Later she was promoted to Accounting AR Supervisor and worked her way up from Staff Accountant to Asst. Controller. She stayed through Marriott International’s acquisition of Starwood Hotels. Prior to joining Trigild, Veronica worked for Aimbridge Hospitality as a Director of Finance from 2017 to 2020.
With over 25 years of experience in hotel finance, she specialized in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll management, accounts payable/receivable, audits, and regulatory compliance. Proven track record of improving financial operations, controlling costs, and supporting profitability across hospitality organizations. Adept at managing multi-department financial processes while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards. Recognized for strong analytical skills, leadership, and dedication to operational excellence.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the University of North Texas in Denton.
